Water line break emergency

Monday, January 4, 2021 4:36 pm

Unfortunately, we had a water line break over the holidays. We are working with a plumbing contractor to resolve the issue. They are assessing the impact on the underground utility connections and will then proceed to fix it. It may take some time, so please plan on making wudhu at home since the wudhu area and the bathrooms are closed in the masjid.

Masjid Open

Monday, January 4, 2021 4:24 pm

The masjid is open for five times daily salaat and Jumuah prayer. However, since the number of Covid-19 related infections and deaths continues to rise and remain high, we request anyone visiting the masjid for prayers to have a face mask at all times, carry their prayer mat, make wudhu at home and practice 6 feet social distancing. Please help by doing your part to contain the spread of the coronavirus.

Please write a check to “Brookhaven Islamic Center Inc” and either put it within a donation box at the masjid or mail it to:

Narrated 'Umar bin Al-Khattab: I heard Allah's Messenger (saws) saying, "The reward of deeds depends upon the intentions and every person will get the reward according to what he has intended. So whoever emigrated for worldly benefits or for a woman to marry, his emigration was for what he emigrated for."

Sahih Al-Bukhari, Revelation, 1
